Reject palm recognition does not work.Īt least I realized from this thread that I could wear cotton gloves while using my devices. I have to lift my hand, go back and erase a million little dots elsewhere on the screen, and fix all my letters which end up super choppy. Even when I repeatedly try to cross my T the pen will not work because my hand is now activated since I lifted the pen. But still, without fail, the side of my hand will become the writing utensil. And yes, I always keep the pen very close to the screen, I barely lift it. Essentially I cannot handwrite on my device's screen and even drawing is repeatedly interrupted because I have to briefly lift my pen while my hand is resting on the screen. I'm having the same problem and it's so incredibly irritating. It really sucks that this question/issue was dismissed. And my question is, is palm rejection a hardware thing, a device, or just a software thing that automatically turns off the touchscreen when the pen approaches the screen? I do not understand. So I can't understand why the digitizer and the pen behave like this. I have read that my Asus T103HAF is on the compatibility list with Wacom Bamboo Ink Plus pens and Bamboo Ink so I wanted to know if my device had a palm rejection that is I can write with the hand resting and touching the screen. I also changed the pen, but the problem is not in the pen (the old pen is on the left of the PC). The videos on this Youtube channel that describe this problem are a total of 4.

So by placing a conductive thing on the screen like my hand, this problem occurs. I verified that the problem is not in the contact between my hand and the pen, but between my hand and the tablet (the screen). All Windows updates, Bios updates, Asus updates, Active “ignore touch input when I use the pen” have been made, calibration has been done and many other attempts. Of course, touch the screen every time first with the tip of the pen and then with the hand is uncomfortable and not natural and then leads to the problem of intermittent writing. In particular, the writing is intermittent if the hand touches the screen before the pen, while it is continuous if the pen touches the screen before the hand. The writing is continuous if the hand does not touch the screen or if a handkerchief or anything insulating prevents direct contact between the hand and the screen, while it is intermittent if the hand touches the screen. Hello, I have Asus Transformers Mini T103 HAF that is equipped with active digitizer with pen, with N-trig technology.
